It is great for filling in the temples, contouring the cheeks, and plumping up hands. Radiesse® is also commonly used to soften smile lines and marionettes (the lines that run from the chin to the corners of your mouth).
How Radiesse works
Radiesse® is a unique filler that helps restore your own natural collagen. It acts as a scaffold underneath the skin that provides a robust structure and stimulates your existing collagen into action. This stimulation of collagen can continue for several months after the procedure, resulting in long-lasting outcomes.
What to expect during your appointment
Before your procedure, we will determine which injectable and how much product will provide the best outcome. If Radiesse® is part of your treatment plan, the gel will be mixed with lidocaine to provide maximum comfort. The procedure takes 15-30 minutes and will involve a series of injections into the desired areas. To minimize discomfort, we have a number of pain reducing methods to choose from.
Length of results
Outcomes are determined by the individual’s metabolism, location of product placement, and number of syringes used. You can expect the results to last anywhere between 6-24 months.
