Melinda Chan is an aesthetic physician assistant with over 20 years of cosmetic experience. Dr. Neal Handel is a board-certified plastic surgeon based in Beverly Hills with over 45 years of experience.
Melinda Chan, PA
Melinda Chan, PA, is a nationally board-certified physician assistant and is licensed by the California Physician Assistant Committee. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor before attending PA school at Midwestern University – Glendale. She graduated in 2005 with a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. During her 18 weeks of elective rotations, she concentrated on Cosmetic Dermatology and Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. She has worked in the aesthetics industry ever since.
Melinda has extensive training in many forms of injectables including Botox®, all Juvéderm® fillers, Radiesse®, Dysport®, all Restylane® fillers, and Kybella®. Her knowledge also spans a wide variety of laser treatments including laser hair removal, IPL photofacials, fractional resurfacing, vein and pigmentation removal, ultrasound and radiofrequency procedures for skin tightening, and acne treatments. In addition to cosmetic procedures, Melinda is also experienced in skincare for aging, damaged, and acneic skin.
Melinda is a member of the California Academy of Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She also holds many certifications in all aspects of aesthetics, including specific lasers and injectables.
Dr. Neal Handel, MD
Dr. Neal Handel is a board-certified plastic surgeon based in Beverly Hills with over 45 years of experience and national recognition as a leader in both aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. After completing his bachelor’s degree with honors from Columbia University, Dr. Handel went on to receive his medical degree at Yale University. He followed up his general surgery training at UCLA and Tulane with a plastic surgery residency at the University of Colorado Medical Center before settling in as Clinical Professor at UCLA where he continues to play an active role in educating future surgeons.
Known for his surgical precision and artistic eye, Dr. Handel is frequently invited to speak at leading medical conferences worldwide. He has published more than 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals and is widely respected for his expertise in facial rejuvenation, body contouring, and non-surgical enhancements by combining advanced techniques with a natural, patient-focused approach.
